Family Guide

We are so glad you are here. This guide explains how to apply so your children can be adopted by a sponsor this Christmas.

Your privacy matters: all personal information you provide is confidential and is never shared with sponsors. Sponsors only see your family number, your children’s ages and sizes, their wish lists, and your family story.

How it works

  • Complete the application by November 28, 2026 — sizes, three gift wishes per child, and your family story.
  • We review your application and post it (anonymously) to the sponsor board.
  • When a sponsor chooses your family, we email you right away.
  • We may text or email if we need to clarify a wish so your sponsor can shop well.
  • Pick up your children’s gifts Sunday, December 14 - after service, 1 PM at the gym — we contact you when they are ready. Bring a photo ID.

Application - important information

  • You may register up to 6 children on one application — contact us if you have more.
  • Answer the three family-story questions as fully as possible (at least 140 characters each). These are shared with potential sponsors — without any personal data — and are what encourage them to choose your family.
  • We use your mobile phone and email to communicate with you — tell us if anything changes.

Gift wish list rules

  • Make three gift wishes for each child.
  • Bicycles: maximum 2 per household, for children ages 3-8, sized by your child’s height (helmet included).
  • Select the correct clothing and shoe sizes for each child.
  • Children ages 13 and over: choices are limited to gift cards, clothing, or shoes.
  • Use the comments box for special needs or anything that helps your sponsor choose well.
